Recommendations

These are the places I spent enough time in to have something worth passing on. Somewhere I'd base myself for a few days gets a page; a day trip lives on the page of the city it leaves from. Some are touristy and on every list, some are local gems I stumbled into or was pointed at. I'll add more cities as I go.
